The company owns, produces, and sells a number of brands including Pony Express, New Holland Meats, Original Bills, Benny's Original Meat Straws, Brewpub Jerky, along with Co-Pack & Private Label manufacturing across the United States and Canada. The company is growing, expanding, and looking to hire a qualified Production Associates & Machine Operators to join their growing team.

Job Summary:

Position: Production Associate & Machine Operator

Job Type: Full Time

Standard Work Week: Monday - Friday (Weekend Work & Overtime When Applicable)

Shift: 1st

General Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Position Description:

Under the direction of the department supervisor assists in day to day production activities for the raw production and smoke room departments. Responsible for production activities in the department to include but not limited to mixing & grinding, bandsaw, and general day to day production activities. Takes direction and assists department supervisor or associates in line preparation and manufacturing operations. Contributes to departmental production activities including equipment set up & tear down, food safety, quality control, inspections, routine maintenance, and overall departmental production needs.

Essential Job Duties (Include but are not limited to):

• Assists in day-to-day production activities for the raw and smoke room departments.
• Responsible for maintaining food safety, operational safety, and related communication with department supervisors.
• Assists in production activities related to mixing, grinding, batching, extruding, and cutting operations.
• Assist in equipment setup, tear down, operational sanitation activities, and related inspections
• Able to work in a team environment or individually
• Completes work duties as assigned, and able to communicate effectively with other associates or supervisory personnel

Qualification Requirements:

• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• 3-5 Years of Manufacturing Experience (Preferably Food Manufacturing)
• Mechanical Aptitude, Experience, and Problem-Solving ability.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to Manage Time Effectively
• Food Safety Experience Preferred (Will Train)
• Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Ability to work overtime and weekends
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift repetitively, stoop, crouch, climb, twist, pull, push, and kneel
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
