PenFed is hiring an OnBase & Nautilus Administrator at one of the following locations: Tysons, Virginia; Alexandria, Virginia; or San Antonio, Texas. The Onbase/Nautilus System Administrator will be responsible for support, improvement and expansion of the Onbase/Nautilus ECM Repository. This individual should have experience in various document management platforms, OCR platforms and be eager and able to dive in and contribute immediately upon starting in the position.
Responsibilities

- Plan, design, develop, implement, administer and support ongoing development and support of the OnBase/Nautilus ECM solution.
- Work with business users and the OnBase/Nautilus team to deliver business value and user adoption of ECM technologies.
- Design, development, and deployment of custom workflow solutions with the capability to integrate with other internal and external IT systems.
- Work closely with business and IT management and staff to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, reuse of existing code through the use of program development software alternatives, or integration of purchased solutions or a combination of the available alternatives.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve OnBase/Nautilus ECM software and issues.
- Ensure that the import processes(Document Import process, Document Imaging, etc) are functioning without issues on a daily basis
- Manage document indexing error corrections, deletion requests and develop retrieval methods(cross-references, custom queries, etc) based on user needs.
- Create reports based on user request and analyze audit reports for anomalies and compliance issues.
- Design search templates, user template groups to apply to new & existing users.
- Determine the appropriate rights and privileges for OnBase/Nautilus –specific roles, such as user account administrator. Develops user groups accordingly.
- Implement solution to standardize our capture, storage, retrieval of documents on our Onbase/Nautilus ECM repository
- Ensure scheduled processes and events occur without any errors.
- Create OnBase/Nautilus performance baselines and review processing and performance reports
- Plan for and test software updates, defects and configuration changes. Create test plans for use when upgrading to determine impact to the system
- Design, implement and regularly test a comprehensive disaster recovery plan.
- Monitor activity to determine and accommodate high activity window
- Work with Database Administrator (DBA) to schedule regular database maintenance to ensure system peak performance.
- Work with DBA to create a database performance baseline that will be used to measure performance changes.
- Work with DBA to create and test a database recovery plan to minimize OnBase/Nautilus downtime in at the event of a database failure.
- OnBase/Nautilus integrations includes, but not limited to: Workflow, WorkView, Document Composition, Outlook Integration, Full text indexing, Advanced Capture, Mulesoft, SalesForce, PING, AIQ, Blacknight, Encompass, Iron Mountain, Kodak Capture etc.
- Work with business, IT and partners to ensure document management objectives are met for scalable growth.
- Assist with new enterprise content and document management platforms and provide technical expertise to various document centric initiatives across the enterprise.
- Improve document operations, learn new document management technologies including AI based document services and support our main goal of Automation CoE
Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
- High School diploma required. Financial institution experience desired. Degree preferred. However will consider a combination of experience and education in lieu of a degree with specialized coursework, training, or experience in information technology and Onbase /Fiserv document management implementation, upgrade and administration in the Financial service industry.
- More than 4 years experience as Onbase administrator & support with integration experience
- Experience with EDM platforms like Onbase/Nautilus, OpenText preferred
- Document Capture as well as API development knowledge is preferred
Supervisory Responsibility
- This position will not currently supervise employees
Licenses and Certifications
- System Administrator as well as Supporting OnBase/Fiserv certification required
- Workflow Administrator(OnBase/Fiserv) preferred
- Certifications by leading EDM platforms, AI and OCR platforms preferred.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.
*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*
Travel
Ability to travel to Washington DC Metro area for meetings and be on-call may be required.
