What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) position at Penn Foster?
Position Summary:
The Manager, CRO will lead a cross functional team to drive conversion and optimal user experience for our future students. They are responsible for and oversee the development, management, and measurement of the marketing testing roadmap that will deliver and promote data-driven Insights and best practices to our business.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead Penn Foster's testing practice that consists of multiple tests running across different marketing channels in order to remove points of friction along our customers journey and increase customer engagement and conversion.
- Manage a testing roadmap that consists of multiple brands, marketing channels and web experiences.
- Create testing plans that have a strong hypothesis and document goals and outcomes that are expected so that we can accurately measure tests without confirmation bias.
- Partner with web developers and landing page specialists to design and modify current web experiences.
- Partner with our analytics team to build test recaps that strongly communicate the business story behind the data and further a culture of data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with the web and product teams to roll out winning tests across our ecosystems
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 4 years of experience managing A/B testing, multivariate testing, optimizations, and web analytics.
- Strong project management abilities and able to organize and prioritize multiple goals under tight deadlines.
- Ability to think on your feet and provide solutions to performance challenges in a market and environment that changes constantly.
- Well-honed presentation and communication skills with senior audiences.
- High level of autonomy and self-motivation.
