Summary:
AS A BUSINESS OFFICE CASHIER, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and professional customer service to all clients who enter the Business Office to either pay on accounts, ask questions regarding statements, deliveries, providing directions or other potential requests. You will also be responsible for data look up and entry into multiple software systems, accountable for daily balancing of cash drawer, and handling other miscellaneous account support duties.

Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Business Management or Finance is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent necessary.
Must have at least one year of cashier and cash handling experience, preferably within a healthcare or financial institution setting.
Strong customer service skills and organizational skills a must.
Ability to calculate numbers, 10 key pad, correct entries and post to records.
Ability to effectively communicate accounting information, policies and/or procedures in a manner easily understood by client.
Strong computer skills
Accuracy and honesty of handling financial transactions
Analytical.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong knowledge in 3rd party billing rules/regulations
Ability to read and interpret payer EOB’s.
