Summary:
- The PRN Nurse Research Associate collaborates with the Department of Nursing Education, Professional Practice, and Magnet to assist the Nurse Scientist in the provision of nursing-based research conducted at Pennsylvania Hospital. At the direction of the Nurse Scientist, the Nurse Research Associate assists with execution of research studies, the transition from quality improvement to research and the application of evidence into practice.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Department of Nursing Education, Practice, and Magnet and Nurse Scientist to implement a strategic plan for advancing nursing research within Pennsylvania Hospital
- Builds the scientific foundation for clinical practice at the facility through application of evidence and the design and execution of studies
- Creates a culture of inquiry around the patient and nurse experience
- Collaborates within Penn Medicine as well as with outside partners on multi-site research opportunities
Credentials:
- Registered Nurse - PA (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in Nursing (Required)
- Master of Arts or Science (Preferred)
- 2 years Nursing Research Experience
- Nursing or Relevant field3 years Nursing Research experience
