Job Posting for System Administrator at Pennant Solutions Group
Pennant Solutions Group is hiring for a Systems (Linux) / Network (CISCO) Administrator in the Huntsville, AL area. Secret Clearance is required for this role. Ansible and AAP is also required in assisting with deployments. Strong candidates will be well versed in Red Hat and various networking principles and protocols.
Primary Duties:
- Develop, deploy, and manage Ansible playbooks and roles to automate the setup, configuration, and upkeep of infrastructure elements in our facility.
- Address and resolve issues systems across Cybersecurity, System Administration, and Network infrastructure.
- Refine and upgrade automation workflows to boost efficiency, reliability, and scalability within each department.
Essential Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure automation, particularly focusing on RHEL.
- Active CompTIA Sec certification.
- Proficiency in network security principles and technologies.
- Experience with system patching and maintaining Ansible playbooks and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in administering and managing Linux systems.
- Deep understanding of Ansible administration.
- Strong scripting skills, especially in Yaml and Bash.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- Red Hat Certification
Candidates must hold an active secret security clearance. This is a full-time role based in Huntsville, AL.
