Overview
Responsibilities include cultivating new and assisting existing PennyMac wholesale mortgage clients. Build and maintain relationships with Mortgage Brokers, Community Banks and Credit Unions for PennyMac Broker Direct Channel ensuring client success. Develop long-term relationships with prospects and clients to arrange in person appointments for Market Sales Managers in addition to addressing inbound leads and inquiries. Serve as subject matter experts, answering all account questions regarding pricing, loan information, PennyMac products, and broker channel technology to ensure a positive customer experience for clients.
Job Description
- Develop prospective accounts and manage all business opportunities
- Mentor Account Executives with the purpose of improving conversion rates, overall sales and compliance effectiveness
- Provide input on business plans to help meet production goals
- Assist with escalation issues
- Operate as a key point of contact for Brokers, Community Banks and Credit Unions
- Meet loan production goals through proactive and responsive telephone presentations and pipeline management activities
- Source new brokers on an ongoing basis through PennyMac sales and contact pipeline
- Counsel new and existing clients on mortgage loan solutions
- Facilitate instruction of online broker applications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with premier mortgage brokers
- Facilitate broker submissions of loan packages
- Manage pipeline and meet or exceed production goals
- Monitor ongoing performance of brokers
- Able to devise and implement business plans to meet production goals
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- Wholesale mortgage lending experience, developing supporting and maintaining mortgage brokers, banks and/or credit unions
- Wholesale Account Executive experience
- Demonstrated competency in meeting customer service standards
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Passion, great communication skills, self-motivation, positive attitude and competitive spirit
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and sales skills with the ability to apply them via telephone
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi task
- PC proficiency, with knowledge of MS Office tools, loan origination software and loan servicing software
