We have an opportunity for a Multi-Site EH&S Manager to join our Hanover Park, IL team. You will be responsible for providing EHS service, direction, and leadership to achieve Pentairs Zero Harm vision at two local sites. In this role, the EHS Leader will be the primary point of contact for managing the EHS program, building a proactive safety culture and driving EHS improvements throughout the site(s). Our Hanover Park and Roselle sites are building an incredibly strong EHS culture, and the leadership team is driven for EHS excellence. You will:

• Implement the EHS portion of Pentairs CP2 (Culture, Process, Performance) program to drive proactive EHS programs and risk mitigation

• Partner with site leadership to maintain and continuously improve Pentairs EHS Management System

• Deliver clear measurable outcomes and EHS improvements by analyzing statistical data/trends and compliance audit results, effectively engaging site leadership, and driving action for identified improvement opportunities

• Drive exciting, innovative safety solutions. No boring stuff here. Lets talk Safety 4.0!

• Provide technical expertise in occupational safety and health, environmental, compliance, and sustainability. You are the primary point of contact for EHS on campus!

• Drive thorough investigations for all incidents and accidents on site and ensures timely completion of corrective actions. Lead the team in developing effective root cause analysis and countermeasures

• Partner with Segment EHS leader to conduct hazard assessments and risk analyses with special emphasis on machine guarding and ergonomics

• Promote individual behavior-based safety programs and employee engagement programs, driving involvement and empowerment of front-line employees to change culture from reactive to preventive, and ultimately predictive.

• Manage excellence around regulatory requirements (ex. OSHA, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures Plan, Large Quantity Generator Permit, DOT hazmat shipping permit etc.)

• Partner with Segment EHS leader and site leadership team to drive continuous improvement in Pentairs Sustainability program, including Pentairs Zero Waste program and Pentairs facility sustainability treasure hunt process. Lets build Smart, Sustainable solutions together!

Key Qualifications:

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in EHS from a recognized institution and experience in project, construction and/or industrial EHS fields

• 5 years EHS experience with 7 years of increasing responsibilities in a manufacturing or construction work environment

• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to make decisions, be a self-starter and love working in a team environment

• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from operations leadership

• Experience in and knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations

• Strong positive energy and enjoy driving improvement in the safety and well-being of others!
