We have an opportunity for an International Customer Service Support Specialist to join our team. You will build sustainable processes to improve customer care, anticipating and providing solutions for international opportunities.
Duties include : answering customer inquiries, quoting lead times, expediting orders, processing order changes and otherwise servicing Pentair’s international community.
You will :
- Be the primary contact for International Pentair Distributors and Sales network.
- Provide day-to-day problem resolution; effectively communicating by phone and email.
- Manage incoming email via the international Salesforce system, providing timely responses.
- Oversee information between customers and internal departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Scheduling, Production Planning, Credit and Logistics) to meet customer expectations.
- Work with internal team to provide updates on orders / parts.
- Meet with sales team weekly via teams to review customer orders.
- Coordinate with customer, freight forwarder, and logistics department in securing transportation for international shipments.
- Work closely with logistics and freight forwarders for international shipping relative to Export Documentation (Commercial Invoice, SLI, Country of Origin, HTS Classification).
- Collaborate with third-party agencies to ensure that we adhere to country specific regulatory requirements.
- Present and explain recommended product solutions.
- Communicate with current and prospective customers using a variety of computer and telecommunications technology / software to give information and answer questions regarding current, alternative or new products.
- Work closely with credit team on any credit and debit memos as needed.
- Build strong working relationship with cross-functional departments.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years equivalent experience in customer service / sales / marketing environment.
- Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish) speaking preferred.
- Experience in international customer service / export compliance / sales preferred.
- Ability to use relevant software programs. (MS Office, Salesforce, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize, exercise good judgment, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well in an energetic team environment.
