Part-time (approximately 12-15 hours per week)
Work schedule: Weekday hours and one weekend day
After hours work might be needed - on an "as needed" basis
Job Summary:This is an entry-level position reporting to the IT Manager. Additionally, this position will support PFC’s Network and POS systems and its users by inputting data additions and changes and creating reports as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
1. IT Operations
Provide end user IT support, application training and advice as needed.
Perform occasional troubleshooting of company-networked systems such as POS/SMS, LAN/WAN connectivity, servers, telephone system, music system, Mettler Toledo scales, computer and other IT hardware or software technical issues.
Facilitate communication with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and POS/SMS vendors.
Investigate POS/PC equipment failures and advise on replacement needs.
Maintain documentation of vendor information and existing systems.
Maintain data integrity through POS/SMS database administration.
Manage data entry, standardization, updates, and deletions according to protocols.
Maintain PLU/UPC/SKU and Member Owner information in SMS.
Create shelf tags and signage when necessary.
PLU organization and protocol development.
Create custom reports
Categorical management of SMS (category, report, family, like, sub-department codes).
Manage tools for updating costs and prices.
Provide feedback and communicate with staff, management, and IT for improvements where IT can affect customer service, department profitability, and other operational matters.
2. Customer Service
Offer consistent, fair, and respectable customer interactions to ensure repeat customer traffic.
Provide top quality customer service with internal and external customers, including staff, board members, vendors, shoppers and outside stakeholders
Approach daily work and customer service with a sense of urgency.
Prioritize work according to critical business needs and be responsive to in-person, phone and electronic communications
Represent the PFC brand and communicate ownership
Exhibit professionalism and positivity in attitude toward internal and external customers
Requirements
Qualifications:
Familiarity with SMS functions and systems
Experience with creating and changing item files in SMS
Experience working remotely with a point of sale (POS) systems and maintaining communication with the users onsite
