Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Summerville, SC within the warehouse industry is looking for an experienced shipping clerk

Shipping Clerk Position Summary

This position provides daily support to management in the area of order retrieval and processing to ensure customers receive product in a timely and efficient manner.

Shipping Clerk Essential Duties/Responsibilities

1. Retrieve orders from existing marketplaces using dedicated software and ensuring accuracy of the shipping settings and requirements. Format and import into ERP system following established guidelines. Generate shipping labels and dispatch to the designated warehouse personnel.
2. Communicate with supervisor and make adjustments to shipments as needed. Ensure all shipments are out of the warehouse prior to end of work shift. Use devices provided by carrier and trace shipments until "Delivered" status is achieved.
3. Format Checkout reports to meet ERP System requirements, review to ensure no error found before importing. Download Checkout reports from marketplace or through third party programs. Create manual sales orders and purchase orders as needed
4. Handle multiple accounts to meet cutoff time to dispatch orders to local and other warehouses
5. On time tracking upload to marketplaces to ensure performance metric maintains in good standing Familiarize with ERP System and utilize to check inventory, create re-allocation, adjust inventory, and generate reports as needed
6. Create report to review sales trend and position inventories into marketplaces based on forecast
7. Review ERP system and communicate with warehouse to avoid and prevent mis-ship
8. Ensure Puller and Packer scans exists in all shipments before proceeding with end of the day
