PEOPLEMARK is seeking production operators for our client in Saint Clair MI.
3rd SHIFT : 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Role Summary
To produce quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements, while supporting the Employee’s Charter and the policies and procedures of the client.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to client's plant standards and upholding the Employee’s Charter.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
1) Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies.
2) Understand and promote plant’s philosophies and Employee’s Charter.
3) Establish and maintain communication with other team members and support departments.
4) Follow Standard Operating Procedures established for each work station.
5) Maintain integrity of quality to ensure finished product meets or exceeds plant standards.
6) Maintain proper documentation of production and inventory using computer system.
7) Must be able to work unsupervised.
8) Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
9) Monitor and maintain good housekeeping (maximize downtime opportunities).
10) Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.
11) TLCQQ – Tagging Correct, Loaded Properly, Closed Properly, Quantity Correct, Quality Parts.
12) Must be a team player willing to work on any job or area in which you are trained or being trained.
13) Perform quality checks as required using QID, QIF, FO/LO Process, and Quality alerts as your guide.
14) Perform the required tasks at the current cycle time on each work station to help ensure assembly meets our customer demands.
15) Perform tip changes and TPM activities as required for each work station.
16) Perform other duties as required.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
SKILL (Ability to do the job)
-Ability to work in a team environment or independently to perform duties with little supervision.
-Ability to communicate with team members on all shifts and possess good mathematical and organizational skills.
KNOWLEDGE
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required
OTHER: Safe work practices, general knowledge of mechanical operations.
WORK EXPERIENCE
WHAT TYPES? Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
HOW MUCH? 6-12 months
WHAT ADDITIONAL SKILLS OR ABILITIES WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR THE JOB?
- Basic mechanical aptitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Some of the physical demands for this position include the ability to lift 40 pounds and being able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time in a manufacturing environment.

Some of the equipment and tools used are basic departmental hand tools and personal protective equipment. Also may include computer and scanning.
