Flooring Installer

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced flooring installer to install vinyl composite tiles, or VCT. These tiles come in a wide range of colors, sizes, textures and patterns and can mimic the look of ceramic or stone tiles. Because they're vinyl, however, they install much more quickly than hard tiles. To do well in this position, you will need to be deeply familiar with the techniques and tools used to install various types of flooring. You should be comfortable working with minimal supervision and capable of observing all safety guidelinesPay Rate for this Job is $24/Hour - $27/HourResponsibilities Include:Removing existing flooring and discarding of this material, if applicable. Clear the work surface from dust, debris, and obstructions. Lay out the VCT right on the floor where it will be installed to determine the pattern you want to use and where the cuts will be placed. Ensuring that the flooring materials are well-positioned, secure, and clean. Use a variety of hand tools including a floor rollerQualifications:Ability to install all types of flooring with minimal supervision. Capable of independent and group work. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and troubleshooting abilities. Thorough and efficient.
