Salary Range: $14.00 - $20.00 Hourly
Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
Description
Summary: The human resources generalist is responsible for HR functions for The Pepi Companies.
Primary Duties:
- Coordinate recruiting efforts.
- Participate in hiring and termination interviews.
- Create and maintain new employee files including personnel, medical, and I9 files.
- Distribute HR packets to employees.
- Monitor the onboarding process for new employees.
- Enter HR information into Human Resources Information System.
- Process terminations in Human Resources Information System.
- Process payroll weekly while complying with all laws.
- File employee documents weekly.
- Conduct employee write-ups and disciplinary actions as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Frequent use of finger dexterity ( 75%) of the time.
Education and Experience
- Should have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or closely related field.
- Should have at least one year of HR experience
Other Skills/Abilities
- Intermediate level ability with Word, Excel, Outlook and other software programs.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems is desired.
