Job Description:

Are you a self-motivated, customer-oriented individual looking for an exciting career in the beverage industry? Pepsi MidAmerica is seeking a Box Truck Route Salesman to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

· Safely operate box truck to transport and deliver Pepsi products to various local customer locations and vending accounts.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while providing exceptional service.

· Conduct regular merchandising and promotional activities.

· Keep accurate records of sales transactions and route data.

· Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

· Execute sales transactions, including taking orders and product delivery within the local area.

· Merchandise and stock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure product visibility and freshness for customers.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile any discrepancies on your local route.

· Meet or exceed sales and delivery targets locally while ensuring product quality and freshness.

· Handle cash and electronic payments, providing customers with accurate receipts and change for local purchases.

· Adhere to safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies while navigating the local roadways.

· Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, reporting any issues promptly.

· Keep accurate records of all deliveries and sales transactions within the local area.

· Assist in other operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Prior route sales or delivery experience is a plus.

· Strong customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with local customers.

· Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including cases of beverages.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for local interactions.

· Reliability and punctuality for consistent local route servicing.

· Attention to detail and organizational skills tailored to local deliveries.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to local community support.

· Must be able to pass drug screening.
