What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territorial Sales Rep position at Pepsi MidAmerica?
- Call on accounts indicated in manifest routed order.
Check and place inside and outside advertising, fill vendors and coolers; rebuild primary and additional displays and maintain adequate reserve stock. See that all the beverage sections and displays are properly merchandised before leaving any account. Put up special P.O.P. such as banner push/pulls/etc. Point of purchase items.
Complete product order nearly, correctly and completely for each customer called on.
Mark the route book accurately after each call, with pre-sold cases/tanks.
Enter “Potential Sheets” in route book when an account has been contacted but not sold.
Analyze with the Area Sales Manager, the territory and each outlet in it, and follow programs that will strengthen the market position.
Execute promotional programs to eligible accounts and maintain good communication level with each customer. Track and report programs and promotions sold to insure execution.
Enforce requirements of promotional program with customer receiving promotional discount.
Responsible for accounts receivable collection.
