Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is PepsiCo’s beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada. This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization.

Job Description:

  • Business Development Manager for New Business throughout North Division
  • Priority is to focus on Large, National or Local Accounts, however, based on workload will support on Local Key Accounts
  • All Channels
  • National Accounts
  • Large Prestige Local Accounts
  • Cross Division, Cross Market, Within Same Market (Prestige) and Bottler Involvement
  • 15,000 cases/gallons
  • $300,000 in Net Revenue
  • Works with Deal Model, Local BAMs, Marketing Brand Showcase and RFPs
  • Works Cross Functionally with National BDM Team, Marketing Team, Franchise Area Manager, Channel Director, Market Directors, Finance
  • Covers 2+ market & Multiple Channel Managers
  • Owns proposal construction
  • No customer management
  • Manage New Business Training for Market
  • Develop team selling capabilities (route rides)
  • Could travel/stay overnight

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, MBA a plus
  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to take initiative and follow-up independently
  • Demonstrated analytical and math skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft suite
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
