Responsibilities
Peraton has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Mid-level Test Engineer to work on-site with our team in Landover, MD. Our program provides full life cycle support for a large Information Technology (IT) system for the Department of Defense (DoD). This program delivers full life-cycle engineering support for all system elements including Development (hardware, software, and networks), Systems and Security Engineering (Integration, testing and Deployment), Sustainment (Logistics, and field support), Network Operations Center (NOC)/Help Desk, and Government user training support for user community.
The ideal candidate will have experience creating an automated test environment and framework as well as executing scripts in Selenium IDE.
The Mid-level Test Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Create comprehensive test plans, test procedures, and test reports for system level testing cycles.
- Participates in Sprint Planning meetings to identify tasks, plans, procedures and reports which verify and validate enterprise capabilities and system requirements.
- Coordinate system test, evaluation, and transition activities with other organizations during Sprint daily "stand-up" Scrum meetings.
- Analyzes data and defines changes required in testing configurations, testing procedures, testing processes, or new testing requirements.
- Create an Automated Test Environment of existing test cases for web applications using Selenium IDE.
- Evaluates discrepancy reports in Jira and performs system regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes affecting system and enterprise capabilities.
**This role is required to provide support, on-site, Mon-Fri**
**This program does allow for a flexible work schedule and is walking distance from a Metro station**
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- An active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree with five (5 ) years of experience, or Masters Degree with three (3 ) years of experience or PhD with no years of experience
- Current/Valid Security Certification
- Experience in Automated Testing
- Experience with Jira
- Experience creating an automated test environment and framework as well as executing scripts for Selenium IDE
- Experience designing and creating a complete Automated Test Environment and Automated Test Framework using open-source resources as well as automate the Test Procedure (TP) / Test cases (TC)
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with seven (7) years of experience, or Masters Degree with five (5) years of experience or PhD with two (2) years of experience

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
