Responsibilities
- Support government leads in the formulation, development, coordination, evaluation, and issuance of customer and IC policies and procedures for conducting pre-publication review of materials provided to the organization.
- Support outreach and coordination with other IC and Government public disclosure organizations to ensure consistent application of public disclosure policies and procedures.

- As directed by the Government, and according to policy, recommend approval or denial, in whole or in part, requests for public disclosure of supplied materials. Provide appropriate documentation and policy references to support determinations for materials not approved for public disclosure. Prepublication reviews have deadlines as short as same-hour or same-day, and customers include very senior Government staff. The Contractor shall support deadlines as directed by the Government.
- Review significant amounts of data from numerous sources to determine classification status consistent with customer and IC classification guides.
- Approve or deny, in whole or in part, requests for public disclosure of supplied materials. Provide appropriate determinations for materials not approved for public disclosure.
- Refer non-customer information to originating departments and agencies for equity review, and consolidate and adjudicate responses.
- Create and maintain records to track status of internal and external review of provided materials and final adjudication of public disclosure requests.
- In accordance with applicable law, and at Government direction, arrange for appropriate release of materials approved for public disclosure.
- Provide inputs to annual compliance reports as directed by the Government.
Qualifications
- Either a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience supporting production or disclosure of classified products for either the IC or the DOD intelligence elements.
- Position requires a TS/SCI with Poly level clearance
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in the IC, of which two (2) years were supporting disclosures tasks and two (2) years were spent as an intelligence analyst.
- Demonstrated broad knowledge of E.O. 13526, E.O. 13556, ICD 710, and associated IC and ODNI classification management policies.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with very senior IC staff.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail such that deliverables are correct, complete, error-free, and ready for Government action.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills sufficient to conceptualize, organize, and draw inferences from incomplete or inconclusive data, and present a compelling analysis of findings to the Government. Ability to identify, articulate, document, and mitigate knowledge gaps, and provide alternative approaches to challenging issues.
- Demonstrated extensive experience working on prepublication reviews or public disclosures and applying appropriate exemptions/redactions to protect sensitive and/or classified intelligence information.
- Thorough understanding of the classification categories and demonstrated experience with the proper handling of classified information designated as controlled access program, RD, FRD, and FGI.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise other Contractor staff and provide QA for their deliverables.
- Demonstrated excellent time management skills and ability to support surge efforts while maintaining high quality.
