Responsibilities
- Serve as cyber security experts on inter/intra-agency working groups addressing computer, network, and communications security issues
- Provide guidance to systems owners for compliance with DOS configuration standards and policies
- Provide emerging technology analysis and trend reporting to CTS designated recipients
- Provide Cloud, wireless, and mobile security expertise, device assessment, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation services
- Research and formulate open source software innovations integration in support of DOS network modernization efforts using industry best practices for cost efficiency solutions
- Provide technical expertise and customer perspective on policy changes to DOS policy working groups
- Facilitate the adoption of cyber and technological security solutions developed by CTS
- Coordinate Enterprise-wide Common Control Documentation and provide technical expertise as needed to Department partners on proper implementation of NIST Common Controls
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science degree and 9 years of experience is required (7 years of experience with a Master’s). In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 6 years of additional experience may be substituted
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain SCI
- Has sufficient background to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Expertise at performing analysis at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
- Has background of skills to ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

- Possess CASP CE, CCNA, CEH, Cloud , CySA , CISSP, or similar certification
