The Global Health & Financial Solutions team is seeking a Product Researcher to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified individual will be responsible for creating satisfying or compelling experiences for users of a digital product. In this role, you will work on a cross-functional team, partnering closely with stakeholders, product managers, business analysts, and software developers. This is a generalist position that includes both user experience design and research aspects. This individual will be a member of the Discovery team, focusing on consumer desirability with feasibility in mind and following a human-centered, hypothesis-driven approach to framing problems and opportunity areas.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary product teams and government staff to shape the product direction and strategy at the service design level.
- Advance the product team’s understanding of users, by identifying target user groups and executing quantitative and qualitative user research.
- Drive the research process end-to-end, from identifying scope and areas of exploration, drafting research plans, recruiting users, conducting user interviews, and sharing findings with internal and external collaborators.
- Produce design deliverables, such as discovery artifacts, sketches, storyboards, site maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years, Master's degree with 3-5 years, PhD 0-2 years of related experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of research methodologies and the proven ability to execute the right methodology to get the needed result.
- Experience mapping and driving system-level improvements and products within complex service environments.
- Strong written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Ability to independently drive multiple concurrent research projects in an agile environment.
- Familiarity with the technical considerations involved in research for complex systems.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
Colorado Salary Maximum:$147,908.80
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
