Responsibilities
We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our Peraton Team. The selected individual will serve as the primary technical and managerial interface between the Contractor, CO, and COR. In this role the Program Manager will provide oversight and support in these areas: Help Desk, User Support, Onsite Desktop Support, Remote Desktop Support, Desktop Platform Engineering, Printer Hardware Service, Remote Access, and management support services to provide a management support service solution.The individual selected for this position will support our customer onsite in either Rockville, Bethesda or Frederick, Maryland office.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of a major program, or multiple programs, through subordinate program/project managers, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Manage one or more projects or programs, may manage an operating office and supervises professional and technical personnel performing in their customary disciplines.
- Maintain aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Acts as a technical liaison with vendors. Trains and supervises personnel.
- Prepare Staffing Plans, including skill and labor mix, to support contract operations. May be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff. Assign staff and provide technical direction as necessary to complete task.
- Monitor contract, subcontract, and funding; prepare forecasts of program financial performance. Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- BS 16-18, MS 14 , Phd 10 or HS 20 years of experience in lieu of a degree requirement.
- Must have at least 10 years of experience managing contracts of similar scope and size.
- Experience leading teams of 50 staff
- Experience with building high performance teams to meet and exceed service levels
- Should have knowledge of industry best practices as articulated by, but not limited to, the Project Management Institute (PMI), Lean IT, Agile practices, as well as DevSecOps.
- Must be certified Program Management Professional (PgMP), certified Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certification, and have experience in project management, budget, and forecasting toolsets.
- ITIL foundation certification preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Desired qualifications:
- Experience with NIH/NCI highly desired
- Practical experience with HHS EPLC

Target Salary Range
$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
