Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring a Systems Engineer for Requirements Support to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year and is performed on site in Fort Meade, MD.
Key Role:
Apply Systems Engineering and Requirements Analysis principles to a new knowledge management effort in the Intelligence Community. Gather information and requirements from the producers to the users of systems and assist with design and program analysis. Interact with a large number of government and development personnel regarding technical considerations for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Qualifications
Required Qualifictions:
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
- Experience in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue, and evaluating requirements to determine system suitability
- Experience with leveraging excellent interpersonal communication with peer and decision makers will be required to carry out duties
- Ability to create effective and accurate written documentation to a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to the pace and scope of high priority tasking
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
