Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer III to augment the existing Dataflow team for a large analytic cloud repository. The selected candidate will work with the team providing Dataflow management for the Data Distribution team. This is an on-call position and the candidate must have prior data flow/or NiFi flow engineering experience.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong SE background; knowledge of processes, and engineering
- Experience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large scale systemsExperience with data government (DMRs, DLMS, DSW, DART) processes
- Knowledge of Security and Compliance as it relates to data handling and access control and the catalog labelling process
- SIGINT Domain Knowledge - understand Data Flow end-to-end
- Strong Leadership skills
- Effective communicator
- Encourage, enforce, and apply strong engineering practices
- Familiarity of systems integration with multiple projects
- Ability to articulate systems drawings for technical gaps, data flow gaps, and end-to-end capabilities for current architecture and upcoming future architecture system needs
- Support and understanding of text data flow
- Understanding of data modeling
- Understanding of data ingest
- Understand entity extraction and entity relationships
- Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Active TS SCI security clearance with current polygraph required

Salary Range
Salary Minimum: $72,500 Salary Mid: $145,000 Salary Maximum: $181,300 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
