Responsibilities
We are seeking an innovative Technical Program Manager responsible for managing the development of R&D programs in the Cyber area. Your primary duties will include overseeing all stages of product development and delivering innovative solutions that meet all contractual obligations and technical requirements on time and on budget. You will also be responsible for cultivating customer relationships by continuously learning about their needs and contributing to the development of new products to address these needs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing all product development stages
- Collaborating and coordinating with the technical team to meet technical performance objectives
- Keeping up with advancements in product-specific technologies and research areas
- Identifying and resolving technical issues and capability gaps, including identifying external vendors with relevant capabilities
- Managing work performed by subcontractors or consultants
- Measuring product performance metrics and making adjustments to meet requirements
- Reporting product development progress to customers and key stakeholders
- Ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget
- Working with internal functional organizations (contracts, subcontracts, procurement, finance) to support the program
Qualifications
Skills and Experience You Should Possess:
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering or similar disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of Technical Program Management experience with R&D programs, preferably within the cyber security space with DoD customers
- Expertise in agile product development and planning and knowledge of the product development life-cycle, including integration and deployment
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve issues and evaluate product performance metrics
- Demonstrated experience working closely with customers
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing product development processes
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong oral, presentation, and written communications skills, with ability to compile reports and presentations based on inputs from technical team
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding of system development and testing methodologies
- Experience with the management and execution of system development for embedded and/or avionics products
- Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships at all levels of the organization
- An active Security Clearance is a plus

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
