Job Summary
Senior Staff Engineer, and Technology Device Engineering Manager will lead a team of development engineers to deliver best in class semiconductor device technology to support pSemi and Murata product roadmaps.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
- Lead team of engineers to deliver high performance and manufacturable RF and mmWave devices that meets product requirement in leading RFSOI technologies
- Plan, conduct analysis and address technical roadmap and challenges to meet design requirements
- Execute manufacturable device technology qualification first time right in timely manner
- Lead and when needed, conduct DC and RF characterization and analysis including high power measurements, s-parameter and loadpull
- Lead and when appropriate, conduct theoretical studies, TCAD or simulations to optimize device performance to build efficient development flow
- Collaborate with process engineering team and foundry team for device fabrication, reliability and modeling team for device design and DOE
- Provide reliability guidance for existing and improved devices to address product requirement
- This is a leadership role and you will be expected to lead RF and mmWave device development from early concept to high-volume manufacturing
- Mentor engineering and technical staff to improve their processing, device knowledge and efficiency improvement
- Collaborate with broader team for yield enhancement efforts to production ramps and high volume maintenance when needed
- Collaborate with process team to define RF process technology roadmap based on internal design team, market, customers' requirement
Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in semiconductor industry, including at least 5 years of experience in technical and/or project management. Experience with RF SOI is highly desired
- Prior successful experience leading technical teams including cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of CMOS IC device and interaction between process and electrical behavior
- Solid technical background in RF products, substrate technologies (Silicon, SOI, others), IPD and Packaging RF devices
- Good data analysis, problem solving, and communication skills
- Familiar with Cadence Layout tools
- Familiar with DC/AC/RF device characterization equipment (HP4156 / B1500 parametric analyzer, LCR meter, oscilloscope, vector network analyzers) and probe-station
- Experience in improving process stability (CP/CPK) and yield (DFM/DFY) of RF devices through fab
flow/processes
- Team player and proven record of effective leadership skills in the management of RF and mmWave team , engineering teams and external foundries
- Requires good written and oral communication skills, and the ability to write, publish and present technical papers

Education Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), PhD preferred
