The Role:
We are looking to fill our Fulfillment Manager role to manage a fulfillment team which includes trim, packaging, and pre-roll supervisors and their respective teams, inventory and product specialists, and a fulfillment logistics team. We are seeking a highly motivated, results oriented individual who is passionate about leading others behind a goal, maintaining accurate records of performance, and driving a culture where we put our employees first. The Fulfillment Manager will be responsible for managing the entire fulfillment cycle from when an untrimmed flower enters the inventory to when it leaves the facility as a processed and packaged product including product processing, packaging, shipping including following all state laws and regulations, and consistent management of product inventory. This role requires consistent collaboration with other sales and grow teams to deliver best in class products.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate all operations of fulfillment from inventory to processing to delivery ensuring best in class quality by putting the customer first
- Motivate and lead a large fulfillment team using strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Actively monitor each departments performance through KPIs such as cycle time and throughput metrics to ensure the team is working at peak efficiency consistently
- Lead by example and effectively support, coach, train and discipline employees to meet Perfect Harvest cycle time and quality expectations
- Proactively identify gaps and needs of different teams and work with supervisors and managers to make sure gaps are avoided and goals are met (including labor needs, inventory gaps, and proper equipment and/or space is available for efficient work)
- Define, implement, and manage adherence of all company policies, SOPs, and expectations, facilitating training, tracking, and enforcement throughout all fulfillment departments
- Ensure fulfillment operations upholds all policies, SOPs, and expectations through regular staff meetings, walk-throughs, audits, and monthly one on one meetings with department heads
- Ensure company compliance with all applicable regulations and cannabis laws (including inventory accuracy and tagging and 100% accurate order invoices and shipping manifests)
- Prioritize fulfillment pipeline per the sales team delivery priorities
- Ensure inventory levels remain sufficient to fulfill orders in the pipeline and proactively communicate with the sales team on inventory levels
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual fulfillment reviews accompanied by reports to Management covering KPIs and written plans for improvement, as applicable
- Develop and execute new operation sustainability and growth directives
- Monitor and assess the performance of yourself and others to make improvements or take corrective action to increase work effectiveness and efficiency throughout
- Organize team roles and evaluate on-going employee performance
- Perform employee formal reviews and assessments
- Assist with new employee onboarding & training programs

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- 7 years senior leadership role in the appropriate field
- Strong self-management and supervisory management skills
- Proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage time and tasks for self and others
- Experience coordinating work efforts and holding others accountable to quick, quality work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations while maintaining composure
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining order and accuracy with records
- Customer centric and quality focused
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Positive attitude day in and day out
- Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work
- Desire and ability to take ownership over your work
- Experience working in cannabis industry or other regulated industry is a plus, but not required
