Supply Chain Planning Manager

Performance Health is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our team. The Supply Chain Planning Manager is a highly skilled supply chain professional. In this role, you will be responsible for overall supply management, which includes building a world-class capability in supply planning and ensure master data accuracy as it pertains to all planning settings in the ERP. Partners with suppliers, demand planning, sales and new product development team to prepare 3-6-9-month plan to deliver a best in class execution of Performance Health programs.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate supply plans, in alignment to demand plan, through S&OP planning cycles
• Set and make purchase decisions based on target inventory levels, OTIF rates and deviations to forecast
• Work closely with buyers to ensure purchase order accuracy and frequency
• Contributor to S&OP process meetings; review supply service levels, inventory strategy, and new product development implications
• Report metrics to key stakeholders and top management; assess impact and root cause of supply gaps, identify opportunities and implement plans for continuous improvement
• Identify improvements in technology and business processes and drive efficient implementation through prioritization of dedicated IT systems and resources
• Develop queries/ algorithms to analyze complex data within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. concepts
• Develop creative solutions for complex supply chain and logistics business issues
• Ad hoc analysis to assist Sales and ensure an efficient supply chain
• Incorporate product life cycles into supply plans to successfully launch and phase out product to minimize waste and mark down risk
• Inventory and item planning settings owner; ensure accuracy and integrity. Calculate and set inventory planning settings, including supply type, safety stock, lead times etc. at the location level
• Manage data to meet service levels and take appropriate action to assure service level targets are achieved
• Monitor inventory levels and identify excess and slow moving inventory and take appropriate action to assure inventory objectives are achieved
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field
• 5 years of experience in planning/purchasing function
• APICS Certification or equivalent (CSCP, ASCM) preferred
• Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and formulate a plan to maximize resources within given constraints
• Excellent Excel, other MS Office, and MRP systems capabilities
• Working knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques (lean, 6 sigma etc.)
• Advanced data analytics skills, including data extraction and manipulation, and query tools and relational databases.
