Performance Initiatives, Inc. is an organization that focuses on working with children and youth. We take the safety and wellbeing of these children and youth very seriously. All staff members and volunteers must complete and pass a background check and Safe Sport training before beginning work at PI.
The program coordinator/volunteer coordinator position is extremely important. This position is required to train and motivate the volunteers and staff working with PI youth members in educational and life skill programs. The program support/volunteer coordinator will provide support to the director and act as the community liaison for our programs.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Program Development Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about youth development, education, and fitness, with strong organizational skills and the ability to drive program growth and effectiveness .
Responsibilities:
- Program Planning and Implementation:
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement comprehensive program plans for the afterschool program
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resources to ensure smooth program operations.
- Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, tutors, coaches, and community stakeholders to design engaging and age appropriate curriculum for afterschool activities.
- Ensure curriculum aligns with educational standards and program goals.
- Community Outreach and Partnerships:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with schools, community organizations, and volunteers to support program goals and expand outreach.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Establish monitoring and evaluation systems to assess program effectiveness and participant progress.
- Collect and analyze data to inform program improvements and report outcomes to stakeholders.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports and updates for internal and external use.
- Communicate program impact and success stories through various channels, including social media and newsletters.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Non-Profit Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
