Summary:

We are seeking Sit-down Clamp Forklift Operators that can also assist with general labor tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for controlling warehouse equipment that requires training/certification on a Sit-down Clamp forklift.
• assist with general labor tasks.
• Assist with hand loading & unloading
• Assist with palletizing, sorting, stacking, and scanning
• Operators must have at least six months experience on equipment
• Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards.
• Complete pre-shift OSHA inspection and related paperwork on forklift truck; clean forklift as outlined in procedure.
• Follow all PPE policies, wearing safety vests, etc. as required.
• Take cartons and pallets to assigned area.
• Minimize waste of product.
• Meet/achieve production goals set forth by management.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months work experience on a Sit-down Clamp forklift
• Ability to pass a Sit-down Clamp forklift skills road test
• Prior Sit-down Clamp forklift certification required
