Tiki Bar / Bar Manager
Typical schedule would be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
Job pays $14-$16 per Hour plus tips and service charges.
JOB DUTIES
· Creating authentic, custom guest experiences through a high level of attention and service
· Ensure quality in service, both in production and execution.
· Oversight of 10 employees
· Responsible for all functional areas of operations management
· Responsible for coaching and mentoring team and managing all HR issues. Effectively communicating issues with company ownership.
· Providing coaching, counseling, appropriate documentation, and employee development for all staff.
· Ability to communicate effectively with team members, both BOH and FOH, Management, and Community
· Oversee and maintain all in-house cash handling procedures.
· Creating a fun bar type party atmosphere while still maintaining a professional leadership role. Organizing the fun but not getting caught up in it!
Experience:
- Full service restaurant management: 2 years (Required) or strong bar management or leadership position in high volume bar with food.
- Proven success in previous positions
- Demonstrate outstanding leadership, communication, and training
- Stable and consistent work history in the Hospitality Field
- Confident in coaching employees FOH & BOH and upholding standards in a positive and effective manner.
- Has eye for detail and has an "every dish is an Instagram picture" mentality.
