- POSITION SUMMARYPrepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist. May measure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This section's weight equals 25%.- Resolves insurance billing problems and accepts and requests refill authorizations from medical offices
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and physician office staff
- Participate in pharmacy inventory counts
- Answer telephones, responding to questions or requests.
- Assist customers by answering simple questions, locating items or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information.
- All other duties as assigned.
