In a quick and timely manner, with exceptional customer service. We work in small spaces with lots of moving parts. Job Summary
As a Food Preparation Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of food items in our Kitchen at the Phoodery in Phoenix OR, for both the Phoodery location and our food truck. Early mornings M-Fri 6am-11am Weekends occastionally
## Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, stoves, ovens and blenders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Assist in plating and presentation of food items.
- Support other kitchen staff as needed.
## Skills
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques.
- Experience in a culinary or food industry setting is preferred.
- Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment such as knives and mixers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
