Marketing Coordinator

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MARKETING COORDINATOR

As a Marketing Coordinator, you manage everything from public events to our social media presence. Always attentive to detail, you attend and manage our participation in both new and existing community events. You plan and execute monthly day-care parties and after-hours meetups. Looking ahead, you develop a yearly marketing calendar and coordinate all of our charitable donations. Always highly organized, you plan and execute all bi-weekly referral partner visits. Additionally, you work closely with our front desk manager to create partnerships with pet-friendly apartment buildings, condos, and hotels. You also work closely with our external marketing partners to develop signage and any other necessary items for our events and promotions.

Using your knowledge of social media, you manage our accounts, implementing new campaigns to grow our following. Skillfully, you write weekly blog posts and monthly e-newsletters to share new developments. Each month, you update our lobby video, signage, and our counselor, camper, and breed of the month programs. You take and edit holiday animal pictures and plan a variety of themed animal events. You get great satisfaction from helping our company to grow and thrive!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in community management or social media content creation
• Knowledge about social media platforms, including how to use trending topics, hashtags, and analytics to increase viewership
• Knowledge about online marketing channels
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop
