Position Summary:
We are seeking individuals with a high level of enthusiasm for specialty pet products and pet health. Working in a Pet Planet health store is a multi-faceted position that includes providing excellent customer service, maintaining store appearance/merchandising standards and upholding the highest ethics around pet health and welfare. You are a professional that takes pride in your positive attitude and exceeding the expectations of your customers. You also routinely look for personal development and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Drive results through providing and coaching team to deliver excellent customer service and a great in-store experience.
· Welcome customers, build loyal relationships, ask questions, listen to their needs, and provide accurate and objective information to help them make the best decision for their pets.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
· Learn and consistently apply the core programs and operating systems to enhance customer loyalty and selling efficiencies. Go the extra mile for the customer to drive sales. Understand how to effectively cross-sell.
· Support the Store Manager in executing promotional events and other key retail activities.
· Proficient in cash handling and POS functions.
· Maintain merchandising standards and keep the store environment clean and inviting.
· Build productive trust relationships with both customers and co-workers.
Required Skills: Professional demeanor and attitude. The highest degree of ethics and integrity. Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate important messages.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
