Job Posting for Inventory Clerk at Petland Iowa City
Job Description: The inventory clerk is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and labeling shelves, restocking items as necessary. They also maintain accurate records of products by scanning inventory and manually counting. Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
Job Requirements:
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to follow operating systems and directions from supervisor.
Flexibility and stamina to work retail business hours.
Must be very task oriented.
Good basic math and computer skills.
Ability to comfortably and repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
Maintain proper inventory valuations throughout the store.
Keep all merchandise neat, clean, priced and fronted.
Effectively sign and display kits, end caps, stack outs, valences and specials.
Maintain accurate records for invoices, vendors and catalogs.
Keep stock room neat and organized.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
