The Sales Representative will be responsible for supporting demand generation through training and monitoring of commercial teams in the distributor's area, reporting to the Regional Director and in coordination with the LATAM Technical Manager.
RESPONSABILITIES
❑ Commercial Representative in California.
❑ Train the distributor's team in alignment with the products sold.
❑ Generate demand from end customers (Producers) in coordination with the distributor.
❑ Coordinate, implement and evaluate tests of commercialized products and new products in development.
❑ Planning goals and tasks in the short, medium and long term.
❑ Coordination with the distributor related to actions according to campaigns.
❑ Regularly generate quality reports.
❑ Control expenses within the approved budget.
❑ Maintain fluid communication with the America Commercial Department for control inventory and potential product needs.
❑ Support in the management of records and maintenance of products (registered and new).
❑ Support the America commercial department in the study of new markets throughout the country.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
B Sc Agriculture, Plant sciences, Plant protection. PCA;
Experience managing fruit and vegetable crops in California;
Valuable experience in berries, leafy vegetables/fruits and walnut fruits;
Experience in handling and recommending pesticides, biostimulants and fertilizers;
Capacity for strategic planning and self-management;
Experience in conducting technical and commercial lectures;
Availability to travel nationally (10% out of state);
LANGUAGES: English (native), intermediate knowledge of Spanish;
Residence in Salinas, California.
KNOWLEDGE
Proven technical capacity in the management of crops of interest. PCA Certificates;
Technical knowledge related to biostimulants and phytosanitary products;
Experience in setting up field trials;
Preparation and implementation of training for colleagues/peers;
knowledge of competitors;
Microsoft Office (Power Point – Word – Excel).
