TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR
PGT Trucking Inc has been in the transportation business for more than 40 years. We are a leader in flatbed shipping solutions with the best drivers, mechanics, and office talent in the industry.
We are hiring for a full-time Technology Coordinator to work from Rochester, PA.
How YOU Will Make an Impact
- Provide comprehensive hardware and software support on all PGT technology systems including, but not limited to PCs, printers, mobile devices, scanners, and telephones.
- Provide telephone, email, chat, and in-person support to on-site and remote workers.
- Maintain and install technology for corporate and off-site locations.
- Identifies and investigates end user information technology strategies to support the business objectives of PGT Trucking, Inc.
- Explores, documents, and recommends to management new methods and or systems which when implemented would improve performance in the area of responsibility.
- Working with SIP-based VolP
- Dealing with network/internet providers/troubleshooting as well as ordering new services.
- Troubleshooting end-user issues.
- Designing and implementing small to medium IP networks
- Training end-users in the use of technology, including in large classroom settings.
Knowledge of the Following Technologies
- Microsoft On-Premise Active Directory.
- Cisco Meraki.
What YOU Need to Succeed
- Associated degree or equivalent experience required.
- 2 years in a technical service desk role preferred.
- Technical certifications (A , Network , Microsoft) a plus
- Must have strong communication skills, computer hardware, network and mobile device troubleshooting skills.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be organized and able to maximize efficiency to provide excellence service.
