What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Analyst position at PGW New Branding?
Responsible for data mining, report building and analytical support to various Supply Chain functions. Responsible for creating and distributing reports involving Supply Chain KPI metrics in the areas of inventory optimization, service levels, customer orders, procurement, forecasting and shipments.
PGW Auto Glass, LLC is working in a hybrid work environment. Team members are expected to commute to our Cranberry Township, PA Headquarters two days per week.
Essential Job Duties:
- Create and distribute reports involving Supply Chain KPI metrics in the areas of inventory, service levels, customer orders, capacity/utilization, forecasting, shipments, and any other metric areas. Display the information accurately and clearly. Standardize, consolidate, and reduce duplication of reports.
- Work with each supply chain function to better educate on best reporting practices, which data points to utilize, and ensure accurate and consistent analysis.
- Understand and frame operational opportunities for further analysis.
- Creating data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to support the identification of Supply Chain operations improvements and simulate the impact of proposed initiatives.
- Mine data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and make use of the Microsoft suite of products to compile Supply Chain metrics and report to key stakeholders.
- Document, validate, and maintain a detailed report library for all Global Supply Chain functions.
- Provide miscellaneous data analyses (including various ad hoc analyses as needed), data extraction, reports, and improvements to administrative processes to improve overall Supply Chain efficiency.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft SQL preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, as well as proficiency in other products of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced Computer Skills -- Routine use of electronic mail and computer systems. Ability to incorporate complex and complicated functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.
- Must possess strong analytical reasoning capabilities and have the ability to work with large amounts of data. Must have high attention to detail and accuracy.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.

- Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%).
