Job Description for Phone Receptionist
Expectations & Job Responsibilities:
· Reliable and prompt attendance
· Schedule and confirm patient appointments
· Answer telephones in a timely manner and direct calls to appropriate staff.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Effective written, verbal and listening communication skills in English and Spanish.
· Organization skills.
· Computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications.
· Confidentiality
· Patient registration.
· Knowledge of insurance, including collection of co-payments, deductibles, co-insurances, and verification of insurance eligibility and benefits.
· Management of multiple-provider schedules.
· HIPAA rules and regulations.
· Address patient concerns in a timely manner.
· Handle patient complaints.
· Maintain a professional demeanor at all times with patients and medical staff.
· Perform other duties as assigned
For Immediate Consideration, Qualified Candidates Must Have:
· High school diploma or GED
· Customer service experience
· Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
