What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Boys’ Swimming, Assistant Coach position at Phillips Academy?
Phillips Academy seeks an Assistant Coach for boys’ varsity swimming program for Winter 2022-23.
Working alongside the varsity head coach swimming coach, responsibilities include developing individual skills, teamwork and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Experience playing and/or coaching swimming required and experience working with high school aged students preferred. Full background check required. Commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per week (Monday- Saturday) starting mid-November through the first week in March. Monday – Friday practices occur after school. Meets, home and away, on most Saturdays throughout winter term. No benefits.

- Ability to positively motivate, inspire and be role model to high-school aged students.
- Be adaptable and enjoy working alongside the current coaching staff
