Our new Account Management Lead will lead our platform partner relationships, developing and executing strategies to build and expand Philo’s presence across the streaming ecosystem. As a key member of the Business Development/Content Acquisition team, you will be tasked with representing Philo BD internally and externally, through account management, deal negotiation and implementation, and prospecting and evaluation. In this role, you will be able to put your passion, experience, and know-how to work, helping shape the direction of Philo’s future distribution, offerings and strategy.

Philo’s combined BD-Content team develops the distribution, content and packaging strategy, maintaining partner relationships, and negotiating agreements. We are tasked with increasing Philo distribution to reach our customers everywhere they want to watch, and helping them find the Philo content they love on the devices they use. The team also looks to create new lines of revenue for the company via expansion into new business verticals, working across marketing, advertising, product and legal functions to maximize impact.

What You’ll Do
- Lead Philo’s account management efforts by creating and maintaining day-to-day relationships with our platform partners (Amazon, Roku, Google, Apple, etc.)
- Oversee all account activity; act as a project manager for key technical and promotional tactics to drive performance and assess impact.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report progress towards subscriber and revenue targets. Develop and support processes around reporting, partnership touchpoints and cadence.
- Support deal owners as a “second chair” during contract renewals and amendments, ensuring timely execution in line with company goals.
- As needed, support deal owners on key content accounts (WBD, Paramount, AMC, A E) with day-to-day account management.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams on marketing, analytics, operations, product, legal, and ad ops
- Create and participate in strategic presentations to teams inside and outside the organization
- 5 years experience in account management, business development, partnership management, or adjacent. Media, entertainment, technology industry preferred.
- Working understanding of streaming space, media programming, digital platforms and key players; familiarity with distribution agreements, business contracts a plus.
- Excellent client-facing skills; ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Think critically about the value of our partnerships and work cross-functionally to improve the interplay between our customers, our platforms, and our product.
- Problem solver, who takes a success-oriented approach to complex issues and who has the innate ability to ask the ‘right questions’
- Positive attitude and collaborative; strong sense of ownership, self-starter, and detail oriented
