Mission:
The PNA builds and supports our diverse community through programs and activities that connect neighbors and foster civic engagement.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Event Manager aligned with PNA’s mission and values. This role is central to our fundraising and community engagement efforts, overseeing event planning, execution, and evaluation. You will manage a part-time Event Coordinator and collaborate across departments to maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead event planning, logistics, and execution
- Coordinate with vendors and partners
- Oversee event setup and management
- Develop strategies for fundraising and engagement
- Track event outcomes and report performance
- Supervise and collaborate with event staff and volunteers
- Manage event budgets and documentation
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of event management experience, preferably in a nonprofit
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community-building
- Ability to work outside of regular hours and in a dynamic office environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Canva, Salesforce, and Greater Giving is a plus
- Physical ability to handle event setup and logistics
Compensation:
Full-time, flexible position with starting pay of $25-$28/hour. Benefits include health, vision & dental insurance, 401(k) with employer match, generous PTO, and more.
