EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- The Compensation Manager leads Phoebe Putney Health System in all initiatives in the area of compensation and benefits while ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. Will supervise staff and systems required to achieve goals; review, recommend, and implement policies and procedures, execute the compensation and benefits strategy, and help ensure all programs and policies support and enhance the Hospital's ability to attract, retain, develop, and engage employees and their contribution to achievement of our mission.
- Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
- Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization
- Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
- Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs)
- Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
- General environment: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned area, with moderate noise levels.
- Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Accounting or Relevant field of study (Required)
- Master's degree in Business Administration or relevant field of study (Preferred)
- 5 years of compensation or benefits administration experience (Required)
- Preferred Certifications/Licensures: CCP (Certified Compensation Professional), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
Salary : $68,700 - $86,900
