Job Description
Preschool through 8th grade school and Synogogue
Work consists of preparing meals for school lunches, meals for events, holidays and Kiddushem, or special events.
Work will also consist of a general aid when not involved in meal preparation.
M-F 8:00 - 3:00
Daily Duties:
Prep school breakfast and lunch for the day according to the National school lunch program
Record all meal program information, keep a log of temps. for freezer, fridge and storage closet., Maintain a running food and supply inventory, keep kitchen clean and organized,
Provide and keep menu and daily lunch orders
keep an inventory check list to keep track of food and supply inventory
Perform any combination of following duties to maintain kitchen work areas equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition:
1) Sweep and mop floors.
2) Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators.
3) Put supplies into storage, refrigerator and freezer.
4) Prepare a variety of meals, adhering to the school lunch program.
5) Serve food and control the food line to assure an efficient meal service.
6) Must possess a food manager or handler card and fingerprint card
Must be willing to be trained
