Responsibilities
- Installation of instrumentation on various types of food processing equipment.
- Routing of cables and termination of wiring in electrical enclosures.
- Installation of conduit on equipment.
- Installation of pneumatic control devices.
- Commissioning and testing of equipment prior to shipping.
- Cleaning of equipment prior to shipping.
- Following instructions exactly.
- Attention to detail is a critical requirement.
- Multi- tasking on various work orders.
- Verbal communication.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
Job Duties may include; but not limited to:
- Standing on hard surfaces for extended periods
- Sitting, bending, and maneuvering into tight positions.
- Lifting 50 lbs.
- Proper use of power drills, grinders, saws and sanders.
- Repetitive stripping of electrical wire, use of a heat gun, and crimping.
- Use of basic hand tools, ie: screwdrivers, wrenches.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays to meet deadlines.
