Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy in a manufacturing setting
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues to insure no unionization happens
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
- Implement talent management programs to attract, develop, and retain high-performing employees
- Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Coordinate leaves of absence, including FMLA, and ensure proper documentation is in place
Skills:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager in manufacturing setting
-Must have detailed understanding of Union and the ability to detect formations
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Knowledge of talent management strategies and best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
