We are seeking a Disability Services Manager who is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the mandatory requirements of the ADA for programs, services, and facilities for the Footprint Center and providing consultative services and recommendations to executive management, Event Services, People & Culture, and other departments as needed. This is a highly collaborative role that will work with multiple internal and external groups on a daily basis.
What Will You Do:
- Administer and coordinate disability needs, services, programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ADA, ADAAA, and all federal, state, and city requirements
- Assist with the development of recommendations in connection with policies, procedures, construction, or modifications to the facilities to ensure compliance with ADA Standards for Accessible Design
- Ensure accessibility services are provided at all arena events, including NBA and WNBA games and concerts, through pre-event planning and on-site support
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with organizations representing people with disabilities
- Provide prompt resolutions to guest inquiries
- Train and provide guidance to employees on ADA and other disability-related topics
- Partner with the Legal Department and People and Culture to resolve internal or external disputes to include but not limited to: guest service concerns, litigation and accommodation requests
- Stay current on changes made to the ADA, as well as other related industry trends/changes and make recommendations to your immediate supervisor(s)
- Participate in budget planning each fiscal year
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance
What We Need From Our Disability Service Manager:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the ADA and other related federal, state and local laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and management skills
- Event or arena experience is preferred but not required
Experience/ Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or related experience required
- Experience developing and implementing employer-based compliance and accommodation programs required.

- S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
- Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor
- Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
- Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
