We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mail Center Technician to assist employees with packaging and delivery of mail, courier items, and inter-office mail.
What Will You Do:
- Create labels for outgoing packages
- Properly pack boxes
- Maintain Mail Center equipment (Postage machine, folding/inserting machine, envelope printer and off-line folding machine)
- Keep inventory of shipping supplies
- Delivery and pick up of mail at the Post Office, FedEx to Kinko’s and UPS
- Communicate and track packages with courier services
- Transport deliveries to and from satellite offices
- Complete paperwork for international packages
- Assist the Receiving Technician
What We Need From Our Mail Center Technician:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environment
- Dependable and detail oriented
- Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and work independently with limited supervision
- Authorization to drive company vehicle
- Knowledge of USPS, FedEx and UPS regulations
- Computer skills (Excel, Word and Email)
- Ability to use Mail Center equipment
- Multi tasking
- Interpersonal skills with ability to communicate
- with all staff levels
Experience/ Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Drivers License

- This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
