Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in the St. Paul, MN area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, preferably within the foodservice industry, and a passion for helping clients find the best solutions for their business needs. Duties will include promoting and selling PHT Systems’ products, conducting equipment demonstrations, prospecting, generating leads, and building relationships. The Sales Consultant should be driven and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the foodservice industry.
· Identify and target potential customers through market research and outreach.
· Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
· Effectively communicate PHT Systems’ value proposition.
· Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations.
· Achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.
· Keep management informed through use of CRM and other activity-based reports.
· Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and competitive offerings.
· Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
· Prior sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to cook and present during equipment demonstrations.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
· Restaurant or kitchen management experience a plus.
Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary and commission (based on experience), company car, medical and dental insurance, health savings account, life & disability insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) plan.
Schedule: Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. but as a Sales Consultant you may have to work earlier or later as necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the job.
Work Location: Our office is located in New Brighton, MN and you will cover a territory including Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and part of Iowa.
